Titania is the largest moon of the planet Uranus, with a mean radius of 788.4 km (miles) – about 0.45 times the size of our own Moon.

Titania was discovered in 1787 by William Herschel, at the same time that he discovered Oberon – the second largest moon of Uranus.

Titania was visited by the Voyager 2 spacecraft in 1986.

Titania is named after the queen of the fairies in the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.
